Statiker-Tage and Eurocode 6

From November 3rd to December 8th the Wienerberger Statiker-Tage will be held again. This nationwide continuing eduction event provides new insights and knowledge of codes and product innovations in masonry construction to structural engineers and building physicists.

This series of events is an important platform for structural engineers and building physicists to acquire additional qualifications and exchange opinions. A central topic of this year's event are the new regulations given in Eurocode 6. Designers must bring themselves up-to-date urgently as the Eurocodes will become official on July 1st, 2012. For this reason, the 2012 Masonry Yearbook focuses on Eurocode 6, too, including comments on the entire code plus the National Annex as well as tools for practical application. The 2012 Masonry Yearbook thus provides support to everyone for whom Eurocode 6 becomes binding during the course of next year.
