The book covers design and engineering of composite steel and concrete structures such as columns, floors, beams and also connections according to EN 1994-1-1 Eurocode 4 including fire design.

About the authors

Prof. ir. Jan Stark is professor emeritus of steel structures at TU Delft University and an experienced lecturer. He contributed to the model code for composite structures and EN 1994-1-1 and was chairman of CEN TC250 SC4 Composite Structures.

Ing. Rob Stark is a registered designer, consulting engineer and director at IMd Consulting Engineers. He is a member of the Dutch Advisory Committee on Building Regulations.
