About the author

Univ.-Prof. em. Dr.-Ing. Rolf Kindmann war von 1990 bis 2013 Ordinarius für Stahl- und Verbundbau an der Ruhr-Universität Bochum. Er ist Mitbegründer der Ingenieursozietät SKP, Dortmund und Prüfingenieur für Baustatik in den Fachrichtungen Massivbau und Metallbau.

Prof. Dr.-Ing. Ulrich Krüger war Professor für Stahlbau und Baustatik an der Fachhochschule Karlsruhe und Prüfingenieur für Baustatik.
