Balancing acts

"...I have been associated with Ernst & Sohn since a student, from 1991 onwards I was able to follow the development of professional literature from inside, as it were, and contribute to this by way of BAUTECHNIK. Issue 08/2010 sees the end of my task as editor-in-chief of this journal, whose informative contents, quality, scope and – last but not least – appearance has been important to me for as long as I can remember "professionally" and for which I was responsible for almost two decades....

...I am now leaving to retire, but not without first thanking all the readers, authors and friends of BAUTECHNIK for the good, and often may years of cooperation, and I wish my successor, Mr. Jesse, every success in achieving the quality and modern further development of this traditional journal, and of course Ernst & Sohn every success in maintaining its market position."
