This year's Christmas donation
As in previous years, Ernst & Sohn will financially support a project of Engineers without Borders at Christmas. We will refrain from sending personal Christmas cards to authors and partners and donate the amount thus released to the aid organization.
The choice has fallen on a rehabilitation project in Uganda – here a new health center is being built, which will later ensure medical care for the inhabitants of the village of Kako and the surrounding area.

Thanks to a reliable local partner and good communication, the organization says implementation of the project is going well despite Corona-related constraints.
The health center is nearing completion of the first phase of construction. The main building of the health center has been rehabilitated, a well has been drilled and an incinerator for hospital waste has been built. An opening is planned for later this year, so that the people of the region will once again have access to medical care.

We are happy to be able to support the project with our donation and wish everyone a Merry Christmas.
