New partnership with academic institutions
Ernst & Sohn with their parent company John Wiley & Sons, Inc. are pleased to announce the signing of a contract with the Projekt DEAL.
The Projekt DEAL represents as a consortium about 700 academic institutions in Germany. In order to support the general furthering of scientific research, Wiley and the Projekt DEAL have together initiated three new initiatives as a partnership.
The trendsetting agreement will enable researchers from all the Projekt DEAL institutions to publish articles in Wiley journals with open access. You can find more information about the agreement in the press release from Wiley.
Civil Engineering Design 2/2019 published
The new journal Civil Engineering Design (CEND) complements the program of Ernst & Sohn with a hybrid Open-Access journal for the entire civil engineering sector. Conceptually based on the German language journal Bautechnik, it pursues its interdisciplinary and material-independent approach in English on an international level. Based in the Wiley Online Library, it publishes 6 issues per year. Civil Engineering Design focuses exclusively on scientific publications with short review and production times.

Geomechanics & Tunnelling 03/2018
For the extension of the Metro T Third Line in San Francisco, 2.7 km of tunnels and four new stations will be built.
