Karl Morgen - 60th Birthday

On March 19th, Dr.-Ing. Karl Morgen, managing and senior partner at WTM Engineers in Hamburg, turned 60 years of age. His professional work is reflected in numerous activities.

His long-standing and relentless dedication to -oriented codes deserves special emphasis. As a driving force in the creation of user-friendly design rules in structural engineering, Karl Morgen has significantly contributed to the creation of "Praxisinitiative Normung" (PIN) and thus forming the financial and organisational basis for the professional cooperation of VBI in the assocation PraxisRegelnBau e.V. (PRB) as well as DIN and CEN.

The list of projects that Karl Morgen has shaped conceptionally and through his expertise is long and covers all areas of activity of WTM Engineers. It ranges from structural engineering projects to those in industrial engineering but also large-scale infrastructure projects and currently the participation in the tunnel solution for the Fehmarnbelt Crossing.
