Abstract:	Massive Bogenbrücken gehören zu den ältesten Zeugen der Baukunst. Das solide Tragsystem ließ die Bauwerke bis heute überdauern. Moderne Betonbogenbrücken funktionieren nach den gleichen grundlegenden Prizipien - sie wurden schlanker, die Montage vielfältiger, die Spannweiten wuchsen stark. Nach einem kurzen historischen Abriß werden bekannte Betonbogenbrücken mit mehr als 200 m Spannweite beschrieben, so daß ein Kaleidoskop dieser Bauweise entsteht.
