Abstract:	Die Bundesgartenschau (BUGA) 1997 findet auf einem ehemaligen Zechengelände in Gelsenkirchen statt. Das geplante Wegenetz überquert eine Talsenke, eine Straße, den Rhein-Herne-Kanal sowie an mehreren Stellen die Emscher. Der folgende Beitrag behandelt die kürzlich fertiggestellten Fußgängerbrücken.
