Abstract:	Es wird ein für den Traglastzustand geltender Ersatz der bekannten, zum Spannungsnachweis für schlanke Stahlstützen unter Biegedruck dienenden Chwalla-Formel der alten DIN 4114 aus dem Jahr 1952 aufgestellt und mit den wenigen vorhandenen Versuchen verglichen, die auf Biegeknicken versagten und nicht auf Biegedrillknicken.
