Abstract:	Trotz der Relevanz für die Brückeninstandhaltung finden vorhandene Minenanlagen in Brückenpfeilern in der Fachliteratur keinerlei Beachtung. Der Beitrag untersucht die Entwicklungsgeschichte dieser Anlagen in Deutschland seit Mitte des 19. Jahrhunderts. Es wird dargestellt, welche konstruktiven Auswirkungen Minenanlagen auf Pfeiler und Auflagerbereiche hatten und noch immer haben. Demolishing bridge bearings - Bridge pillars with permanent mine chambers. Bridge pillars with permanent mine chambers are not noted in technical literature and bridge maintenance. This paper explores an outline history of these constructions, executed in Germany since 19th century. Discussing the constructive effects of mine chambers, the ongoing influences to bridge pillars and bearings will be pointed out.
