Incremental stress-strain behaviour of non-cohesive soils at low cycle loading. Low cycle loading-processes occur in different situations and in particular during geotechnical construction-processes. To capture the magnitude of deformations due to these processes, one is currently dependent on observations and measurements, because common constitutive models often show deficits when predicting these deformations. With the aid of triaxial series presented in this article, strain-response-envelopes amongst others were produced, which can contribute to the development of constitutive equations to improve the numerical prediction of deformation of construction-induced, low cycle loading-processes. |
