Abstract:	Im Zuge der Ortsumgehung Schönebeck der Bundesstraße B 246a wird der Neubau einer Brücke über die Elbe erforderlich. Der folgende Aufsatz behandelt die im Rahmen der Entwurfsplanung untersuchten Varianten des 1128,50 m langen Bauwerkes und geht auf die weitere Planung bis zur Vergabe ein. Kernstück der neuen Elbequerung ist die einhüftige Schrägseilbrücke mit einer Hauptspannweite von 185 m. The new bridge will have a total length of 1128,50 m and a main span of 185 m built as a single tower cable-stayed bridge.
