Abstract:	Außenwände mit Wärmedämmung und vorgehängter hinterlüfteter Bekleidung bieten sowohl in gestalterischer als auch in bauphysikalischer Hinsicht viele Möglichkeiten moderner Fassadengestaltung. Die Wandscheibe aus KS-Mauerwerk übernimmt raumabschließende und tragende Funktion, die Wärmedämmschicht den Wärmeschutz, die Bekleidungen die Gestaltungsfunktion und den Witterungsschutz. Andere Elemente wie z. B. Photovoltaikelemente können harmonisch in die Fassade eingepasst werden. Der Beitrag bezieht sich auf Kalksandstein-Mauerwerk, die Ausführungen gelten i. W. auch für anderes Mauerwerk.
