Abstract:	Es werden 20 Bogenstaumauern aus sechs Ländern, an denen verschiedene Schäden beobachtet worden sind mit ihrer Entstehungsgeschichte beschrieben. Beim Vergleich dieser 20 Fälle können gewisse Gemeinsamkeiten festgestellt werden. Aus diesen werden einige wichtige Regeln für den Entwurf von Bogenstaumauern abgeleitet.
