Abstract:     
 
Aus teilgesättigtem Sand lassen sich erstaunliche Figuren und Bauwerke erstellen. "Curver" formen Kunstobjekte aus Sand, die dann in Ausstellungen unter freiem Himmel präsentiert werden. Es kann gezeigt werden, daß Saugspannungen aus Zwickelwasserfilmen in den Porenräumen die physikalische Ursache für die erstaunliche Zugfestigkeit von teilgesättigtem Sand sind.
