Nachdem das Bauvolumen in Deutschland in den vergangenen 5 Jahren von ca. 250 auf 190 Mrd. €/a zurückgegangen ist, konzentrieren sich die Unternehmen auf Marktnischen, die vor allem in der Modernisierung des Bestandes liegen. "Aktive Kundenbetreuung" und "innovative Produkte" sind gefragt, das Fraunhofer-Institut für Bauphysik (IBP) leistet hierzu einen Beitrag.
