Abstract:	Der Aufsatz behandelt grundlegend die Problematik der Mantelreibung am Bohrrohr bei der Herstellung von verrohrten Drehbohrpfählen. Es wird ein praxistauglicher Prognosealgorithmus vorgestellt, der es ermöglicht, aus der zu bestimmenden mittleren Mantelreibung das notwendige Drehmoment zu errechnen, um somit eine leistungsgerechte und wirtschaftliche Bohrgeräteauswahl zu realisieren.
