Abstract:	Der 300. Geburtstag von Friedrich Wilhelm Diterichs am 10. April 2002 (Uelzen) und sein 220. Todestag am 13. Dezember 2002 (Orpensdorf) geben Anlaß, an einen der wichtigsten Baumeister Preußens im 18. Jahrhundert zu erinnern, der beinahe 50 Jahre in Diensten der preußischen Könige Friedrich Wilhelm I. und Friedrich II. als Architekt, Bauingenieur und Baubeamter tätig war.
